Lieutenant Adam Orton: Hey Lieutenant Adam Orton here, your host, with a little podcast extra update.

[Music Ends]

Lt Orton: First of all, I just wanted to thank everybody who has been downloading and subscribing and listening, giving us ideas for future podcasts. We really appreciate it. We launched the podcast in the middle of a pandemic, and the episodes that we’ve been working on kind of focus on that up until this point, but we are also working on a bunch of other things. Like, how soldiers can improve their mil skills, work on marksmanship, and we’re going to talk to deployed personnel, we’ll talk about army history, and key events and battles, things that are tied into regiments and other topics like tac vests and equipment. In fact, one of the things that somebody suggested that we’re going to focus on as well is, what’s going on with CADPAT. So, keep the suggestions coming in, we’re going to give them as much consideration as we can. We can’t do everything obviously, but we’ll do our best.

The email link to contact us is in the show notes for the podcast extra, and also on our podcast page on the Canadian Army website. Take a look at that, and fire us off an email if you have any ideas. Also, just wanted to mention that the COVID-19 Emergency Campaign ends on the 20th of June, so you still have time to contribute to that. It’s important because a lot of Canadians are going through tough times, and one of our strengths in the defence community is teamwork and working together, trying to make a difference. So, this Emergency Campaign is ongoing until June 20th. You still have some time to chip-in and participate if you want to help out some Canadians in need. So please do that. It counts towards the National Defence Workplace Charitable Campaign total. So, it’s a great way to make a difference. All the details will be in a link in the show notes, so please take a look. Also, if you go to our website, Canada.ca/Army, look for the COVID-19 Emergency Campaign link right in there.

Lt Orton: Anyways, I just wanted to give you an update and say thank you to all the people who have been supporting what we’ve been doing. And all your ideas, please keep them coming. And, join us for our next full edition, which is going to be out in a week or so. In the meantime, stay frosty.
